Excl VAT 20% - calculated at checkout

The KAB CO₂ Absorber is designed for effective carbon dioxide removal in closed or semi‑closed breathing circuits using soda lime. The unit features an integrated, adjustable APL valve with a built‑in scavenging port, offering a compact and efficient solution for small animal anaesthesia.

  • Removes CO₂ from closed or semi‑closed breathing systems via soda lime
  • Integrated adjustable APL valve with scavenging port
  • If purchasing for the first time, the metal KABTP mounting plate is required
  • A long extension may be needed when the common gas outlet sits close to the vaporiser and additional clearance is required

Product Features

  • F‑Circle Mark 1 small‑animal circle absorber for patients 10 kg and above
  • Low flow resistance throughout the system
  • Low‑resistance one‑way valves
  • Baffled canister design ensures gas passes effectively over the soda lime
  • Coaxial circle breathing tubes reduce drag on the patient
  • Can be fitted directly to the oxygen outlet when the canister can be positioned close to the anaesthetic machine
  • If required, use a 22 mm T‑piece to attach it to the anaesthetic machine
  • Autoclavable for high‑level sterilisation

Additional Note

  • A 22M–22M elbow connector with 7.6 mm port is ideal if the bag mount on your KAB absorber has been lost or damaged.
