This CO₂ exhaust kit is designed to safely divert sampled anaesthetic gases away from the clinical environment during sidestream capnography. When measuring CO₂, 60–100 mL/min of expired gas is continuously drawn from the anaesthetic circuit. Without proper scavenging, this gas is released into the room—an unnecessary exposure risk, especially for pregnant staff members.
The CO₂ exhaust kit provides a simple, effective way to minimise environmental contamination and maintain a safer working atmosphere. For this reason, it is included as standard in all our monitoring system quotations.
